We are looking to develop a WordPress based website. We will provide a PSD template with the exact layout required and all images. All graphics will be provided in PSD layers. The design will be completely provided in the PSD. The job is converting the PSD directly into a functional template.

The website is fairly simple:

- 3 fairly simple all text pages
- A portfolio gallery – The gallery will be showed as thumbnails (for each gallery folder/group) on the main gallery page. Clicking in to the gallery will display:
- Text description for each group on the left
- Each image loading in an embedded full page effect (not lightbox)
- Navigation panel to view other images in the group

All content should update-able via the WordPress admin panel. Use of an existing template and plugins to get the job does is fine.

The main element of this job will be implementing the design EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED in the PSD layout. We will provide all assets, including artwork and buttons. We would also like cross-browser functionality across major browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari)

The Role:
FoodCycle is looking for a WordPress developer to help improve the UX of our wordpress network. You will be helping to register new volunteers and providing a way for them to sign-up for our oppurtunites. This network connects all our Hubs and volunteers together to form an online FoodCycle community.

Your tasks:
1) To streamline the volunteer registration process and reduce the number of screens required. (We need automatically add users to a mailing list whent hey register with a gravity form.)
2) Improve the login/logout process with a button in the header and a nice jQuery app for aesthetic design.

Qualifications:
Experience of HTML/PHP/CSS3 development, focused on WordPress specifically
Preferably familiar with the Pagelines framework or willing to learn
Experienced in UI and UX design
Preferably, experience of social media optimization and community management

1) Member’s area that is hidden from logged out users/visitors.

2) visitors will need to choose either a free membership or a paid membership for joining site.

If they choose free membership, they can access the public blogs on my site. If they choose paid membership, they can access private blogs (using categories) as well as pages within the defined member’s area.

3) One of the pages in the member’s area has my BBpress forums listed. I want the forums to be hidden from visitors/logged out users as well as FREE members. However, if the user is a PAID member, I want them to be able to access an assigned forum on BBpress forum page. I do not want paid members to be able to access another paid member’s forum.

All of this needs to be synced with the registration process so that when they sign up, they can be given a specific role that will facilitate these securities.

I am using latest BBpress and WordPress software.

Candidate must be a freelancer or the founder of a small agency. Local or overseas agencies need not apply. Candidate must also have the following criteria:

* More than a year of working with WordPress
* Must know at least three programming languages and Mercurial
* Experience with CSS 3
* Experience with JavaScript and jQuery
* Experience deploying applications to Linux

Looking at the these plug-ins I have trouble finding a plug-in or plug-ins, which allow the community (its businesses, clubs, groups, etc.) to create each their own page and edit it. And notifies me (as webmaster) so I can moderate/approve each input (registration, page, page editing, etc). I wish to set up:
1. User registration
2. User permissions (to direct each registered user (=member) to their own post to create/edit it)
3. Notifications both to user and administrator of the processes
4. Create a public database

I just watched your video s2Member (Free Registration On Multiple Levels? ). My problem is that I need to allow new free members to register and go to their own specific page, where they can create/edit their material and no other member can edit/change their page. The purpose is that all members are given their own page that only they and the administrator of the site have access to. It would seem by this video that I would need to code in separately every new member after they register. Is that so? or is there an automated way I can achieve this ?

P.S. I run a community site (http://bit.ly/xMofb5). It is a free site at this stage. The idea is that community groups, businesses, etc. can become members and each has their own page.
