We are looking for passionate WordPress Developers, from freshers to senior-level, who have a deep understanding of WordPress and PHP fundamentals, and can contribute to the development and enhancement of our platform.
Responsibilities:
- Customize and extend WordPress themes and plugins to meet business requirements
- Develop and implement new features using PHP and WordPress best practices
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, including complex PHP code
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website issues to ensure optimal performance
- Optimize website performance, including load speed and security enhancements
- Collaborate with the team on various web development projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Work on tight timelines while maintaining attention to detail and quality
- Stay updated with the latest WordPress, PHP, and web development technologies
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform by exploring new technologies and best practices
Tools and Technologies:
- Version Control: Git (GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab) for managing code repositories and collaboration
- Development Environment: Local development environments like XAMPP, MAMP, WAMP, or Docker for WordPress setup
- Cloud Platforms: Basic knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) for hosting and deployment purposes
- Frontend Technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including jQuery or modern frameworks like React)
- PHP Standards: Knowledge of PSR (PHP Standards Recommendations) coding standards and practices
- Database Management: MySQL or MariaDB for managing WordPress databases, writing complex SQL queries, and optimization
- Debugging Tools: Familiarity with tools like Xdebug, Query Monitor, and browser developer tools for troubleshooting
- Task Management: Experience using project management tools (e.g., Trello, Jira, Asana) for task tracking and collaboration
Requirements:
- For Freshers: Demonstrated interest in WordPress and PHP development (through projects, internships, or coursework)
- For Experienced Developers: 1-5 years of experience in PHP and WordPress development
- Interns are welcome
- Strong understanding of WordPress core concepts and PHP fundamentals
- Proven experience in customizing WordPress themes and creating custom plugins
- Proficiency in frontend technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Solid understanding of SQL databases and the ability to write complex queries
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Ability to work independently, self-manage tasks, and collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and platforms
- Must be able to work on tight deadlines without compromising quality
