Product area layout

As you’ll see from the homepage of our website at https://wendysgarden.com.au (built with WordPress), each product for sale occupies its own area or box.

Because each product title has a different length, every product image has different dimensions and some products feature more than one image, it means every product box has a different height – the system cuts off the description after a certain number of words in each case and the other details like Availability, Count, the Buy button and Quantity are uniform in height.

The next row of product boxes down starts at the same level on the page, so the gaps between each box and the one above it is different in every case.

The change we’re after is so that every product box is the same height and appear on the page in a more uniform grid, which you can see in this image;

As you can see the new product boxes will contain the following, and in a slightly different order;

* The complete title
* All images at original dimensions
* The availability, stock level quantity and buy button that’s currently at the bottom of the box
* The description

Every box should then have a uniform depth and cut the description off at the requisite point (including one hard return and the ‘See More’ link).

NOTE: this change will only be reflected on desktop browsers and some tablet browsers – handheld/phone browsers deploy products one on top of the other. I don’t know how or whether that changes the way you need to program this change behind the scenes.

Thank you!
