I need a WP ‘mechanic’ with skill, vision, integrity & “a hungry attitude”.
I’m looking to have a WP website using a free WP theme, in the “Contemporary Outdoor / Festival-Adjacent” category. I see the website “rolling downhill”, from the top to the bottom.
I will provide a detailed “PDF Blueprint” and all the working parts, including copy / content as a WORD doc for easy & copy & paste, all photos and the HOME banner, as a tight PNG image.
I do have a “premise” in mind, which is clearly exhibited in the HOME banner, but that “premise” and the “PDF Blueprint” need to be married with a free WP theme which will complement my visual & verbal “premise”. I am open to suggestions for free” WP themes which make my “premise” more engaging, softer & polished, and yet convey a “professional” presentation.
I see the website as a :”brochure website”, introducing the concept of a major, annual, outdoor “Signature Festival / Event” on the US East Coast. It will not necessarily promote the event but, rather, introduce the concept and what I have in mind for activities and sub-activities to potential Funders and Investors.
As a “Visual Brochure”, the website will provide a look into a concept for an annual, outdoor “Signature Festival / Event”, along the lines of “Burning Man” in Nevada, the “South By Southwest” (SXSW) festival in Texas and the “Coachella” festival in California… three great, well-known festivals on the U.S. WEST COAST. I’m thinking about a great, (new) “Signature Festival / Event” on the U.S. EAST COAST.
I believe the “Contemporary Outdoor / Festival-Adjacent” category of themes will be best suited to my project. And, I also think the website could / should possibly “roll downhill”, from the very top of the website to the very bottom, as opposed to separate pages.
Tight budget and short turn-around — and, a sense of what it means to be a true ‘Professional’ — are part of the project mix.
Too many charlatans and irresponsible ‘drones / clones’ at Fiverr have burned me out on people who say “I’ll keep you updated, and I’ll respond quickly to your messages”, and then they ‘disappear’ for 18 hours or longer.
