I am looking for a senior-level eCommerce specialist to perform a full technical and business optimization of my WooCommerce online store. This project is intended only for professionals who work specifically with WooCommerce or Magento eCommerce stores on a daily basis.
This is not a basic WordPress task. The store is already live and requires deep WooCommerce-level optimization, both technical and conversion-focused.
Scope of Work (What Needs to Be Done):
1. WooCommerce eCommerce Audit
- Full audit of the existing WooCommerce setup
- Review of store structure, product types, variations, and attributes
- Analysis of current plugins and WooCommerce extensions
- Identification of performance and scalability issues
2. Performance & Speed Optimization
- Optimize WooCommerce database and queries
- Improve page speed (shop, category, product, cart, checkout)
- Optimize images, scripts, and WooCommerce-related assets
- Fix WooCommerce conflicts slowing down the store
3. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
- Improve product page structure and UX
- Optimize add-to-cart flow and product variations
- Simplify checkout process and reduce cart abandonment
- Optimize mobile eCommerce experience
4. WooCommerce Configuration & Logic
- Proper configuration of taxes, shipping, and payments
- Optimization of coupons, discounts, and pricing logic
- Review stock management and inventory logic
- Fix WooCommerce edge cases and bugs
5. eCommerce SEO & Structure (WooCommerce-Focused)
- Optimize product and category structure
- Improve internal linking for WooCommerce pages
- Fix duplicate content and indexing issues related to WooCommerce
- Ensure correct schema for products
6. Security, Stability & Scalability
- Review WooCommerce security setup
- Prepare the store for traffic growth
- Ensure compatibility with future WooCommerce updates
Important Requirements:
- Proven experience with WooCommerce or Magento eCommerce only
- Deep understanding of eCommerce logic (not just WordPress themes)
- Experience optimizing live stores with real sales
- Ability to explain decisions and provide a clear optimization plan
