Project Title: WordPress Developer Needed for Divi to GenerateBlocks Transition & Ongoing Site Build
Project Description
I am looking for a WordPress developer to help me clean up and transition my current website. I am moving away from Divi and want to rebuild the site using GenerateBlocks (and GeneratePress) for better performance and a cleaner backend.
I have a clear vision for the site and need someone who is a great communicator and happy to follow my lead as I provide the content and direction for new pages.
Key Responsibilities
Clean Up & Migration: Carefully transition existing Divi-built pages to GenerateBlocks while maintaining the design aesthetic I’ve established.
Performance Optimization: Ensure the new build follows performance best practices, including high page load speeds and minimal plugin bloat.
Ongoing Site Building: As I post new content, you will build out the corresponding pages and sections based on my specific guidance.
Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any legacy issues left behind by the Divi transition.
Requirements
Expert-level knowledge of both Divi and GenerateBlocks/GeneratePress.
Strong understanding of Core Web Vitals and site performance.
Ability to work iteratively: I will be providing content and direction as we go.
Experience with Git or staging environments to ensure a safe transition.
Communication & Workflow
Check-ins: I prefer daily updates on progress.
Feedback: You must be comfortable with a feedback-heavy process to ensure the site matches my exact vision.
