Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced WordPress Backend Developer to work with our team on a dedicated, full-time freelance basis. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development skills, experience building custom WordPress solutions, and the ability to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Customize WordPress functionality using PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services.
• Optimize website performance, security, and database queries.
• Troubleshoot bugs and resolve backend issues.
• Collaborate with our team to deliver projects on time.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with WordPress backend development.
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience developing custom plugins, themes, and REST API integrations.
• Knowledge of WordPress security, performance optimization, and debugging.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Laravel or Node.js.
• Knowledge of WooCommerce and payment gateway integrations.
• Experience with custom API development and third-party integrations.
