We need help to build a site, based upon WP and GeneratePress (One).
Specialties:
Please be aware that both the “look and feel” (colors, images, fonts) and contents/structure of the hero section have already been settled and produced, so your task is to fit/adopt this material as good as possible with a GP templates, so that the site can be published. However, we also need help with establishing some sound basic routines – based upon your skilled tips input!
Note that from the beginning all text on the site is going to be held in Norwegian language only.
Introduction:
The site has already gotten its’ registered domain name and is set up for maintenance via self-help tools provided by a local ISP. I am currently logged into this and have a dummy template loaded, but now I struggle.
Later on, a single person is (Hanne) is going to produce all the copy (after the initial build-up this is going to happen by posting blog articles), but we need some help to get the thing “off the bat”.
We believe that for a trained person the knowledge transfer is what is going to take time. We expected this to consume a few hours, say half a day of work. Specifically, this particular work assignment must be finalized in no more than four -4- hours, and it will be done via remote screen sharing.
Skills: You must have a profile that confirms your skills in site management via WP and GeneratePress (GP).
Compensation: I can pay you via PayPal or Revolut money transfer (you decide which one). You will receive half the payment before and half after the session.
Background: I who write this consider myself the IT assistant for my woman/partner/cohabitant (Hanne) who is about to launch a social media campaign in Norway. The focus of this campaign is to fight against a currently very widespread un-knowledgeable attitude towards the horrible situation of an entire patient group: Those with the ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis) disease. We, the general public, but even our governmental authorities disregard the many deeply problematic aspects around the lack-of-quality-of-life for ME patients. Actually, we feel that what is happening is that we basically “throwing these patients under the bus”. And the reason why this protest thing came about is that Hanne’s own daughter is very ill with ME. Now she intends to fight the system.
