Rainmaker Digital Services offers content marketing software and services to organizations seeking authentic and authoritative relationships with their customers. Our industry-leading Rainmaker Platform serves the digital marketing needs of over 500 entrepreneurs and businesses worldwide. We are looking for a Development Manager to join our team as a full-time member. This is a 100% remote position, so you can be anywhere in the world and manage your own schedule.
- Plan and oversee daily tasks for development staff, client projects, support and systems.
- Plan Rainmaker Platform enhancements and features based on WordPress plugin and theme trends.
- Help write client proposals for production-based and development-based projects
- Help planning and coordinating projects with Client Services team including providing time and resource estimates.
- Help support resources to assist customers and provide and write accurate and updated documentation.
- Work with systems team to identify and implement features and enhancements to servers and underlying technologies.
- Must be comfortable with customer-facing roles, including support and documentation.
- Experience with project and/or product management.
- Proficiency with project management tools.
- 5+ years working with WordPress.
- Proficiency with PHP, MySQL and web development tools.
- Experience with WordPress plugin development and Version Control Software (Git).
- Experience providing direct support to clients via online tools, email and direct calls.
- Some understanding of WP-CLI, secure connections, DNS and email related technologies (SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, etc).
- Knowledge of Genesis Framework, Vagrant, Grunt, Gulp and PHPUnit are a plus.
- Familiarity with management tools include Zoho CRM, Project, Desk and Books, Shortcut, Acuity Scheduler.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
Position is a full-time contract and includes a competitive salary and profit sharing based on performance.
