We are a key player in a leading group of companies in the UK and are looking for a mid to senior WordPress/PHP developer with sound knowledge of Laravel and some experience of VueJS (ideal, not mandatory). – Built on WP v6.5
– It’s a huge system, developed in multi-service architecture
– Database on MySQL
– Frontend on VueJS
– Hosted using multiple Elastic Beanstalk
– Docker for local development
– Partial unit test suite
– Regression test suite maintained by the QA team
– Its a very mature system used by multiple enterprise clients
What we want from you:
– This is mid to senior position, you will be working as core developer with the lead developer to support the analysis, architectural design, building, testing, and documentation of the application.
– Communication, Communication, Communication – we are a close team of developers that move together in everything we do. (Video calls essential)
– You will participate in agile software development lifecycle in a team environment, including participation in design, code, and test inspections to identify issues/defects – it’s a thinking role, not just to carry out development.
Key Requirements:
– 5+ years minimum working with web-based applications
– 3+ years working with **WP**
– Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
– Knowledge of SOLID / Clean Code Principles.
– Experience with Unit Test, oAuth, SAML 2.0
– Experience with **VueJS is a plus.
– Experience with Elastic Beanstalk is a plus
– Experience with **DevOps** and **docker** is a plus.
– Knowledge of **microservices** architecture is a plus.
– Very good communication skills in English
– Experience with web services technologies (Example: REST).
– Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
– Ready to work 9AM-4PM UK time.
