In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing on-page SEO for websites with over 1000 pages, conducting comprehensive audits for larger sites, navigating marketing funnels, implementing diverse link-building strategies, mastering various content marketing approaches, and showcasing expertise in Google AdWords and Google Analytics.
Your Role as an SEO Lead
As an SEO Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving organic growth and enhancing the online visibility of our products. You’ll lead a team of SEO specialists, guiding them in implementing effective SEO practices and achieving outstanding results.
You will be responsible for:
Research and Competition Analysis:
Conduct comprehensive research to identify and understand the competitive landscape, including keyword analysis and target audience behavior.
Analyze competitors’ SEO strategies, backlink profiles, and content tactics to identify opportunities for improvement.
Auditing On-Page, Off-Page & Technical SEO of Large Websites:
Perform in-depth on-page audits of websites to assess on-page factors such as meta tags, headings, keyword optimization, and internal linking.
Evaluate off-page factors including backlink quality, diversity, and relevance to ensure a strong backlink profile.
Conduct technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues related to website structure, page speed, mobile-friendliness, and crawlability.
Analysis of Website & Email Funnels:
Analyze user behavior within website and email funnels to identify areas for optimization and conversion rate improvement.
Implement A/B testing and other techniques to enhance user experience and drive higher conversions.
SEO Strategy Development:
Designing and implementing robust SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings.
Leading your team in conducting on-page SEO optimization for websites comprising over 1000 pages.
Conducting audits and analysis for larger websites to identify areas for improvement.
Link Building and Content Optimization:
Develop data-driven content strategies that align with target audience interests and search intent.
Collaborate with the content team to ensure content is optimized for both users and search engines.
Implementing diverse link-building strategies and content marketing techniques.
Collaborating with content teams to ensure alignment with SEO strategies.
Collaboration with Developers, Designers, SEO & Content Teams:
Work closely with developers and designers to implement technical SEO recommendations, improve site architecture, and ensure smooth user experience.
Collaborate with SEO and content teams to align strategies, ensure consistency, and leverage opportunities for synergy.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
Leading, mentoring, and nurturing your SEO team to achieve set goals and objectives.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align SEO strategies with broader marketing initiatives.
Continuously staying updated with industry trends and Google algorithm changes.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Monitoring and analyzing the impact of SEO efforts on website traffic, search rankings, conversion rates, bounce rate and engagement metrics.
Compiling detailed reports for stakeholders, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
You must have these skills and experiences:
Excellent communication skills
5-7 years of experience in SEO
In-depth understanding of marketing funnels
Strong research skills to identify potential traffic opportunities and stay updated with industry trends.
Experience in conducting competition analysis and leveraging insights for content strategies.
Experience of SEO for websites with more than 1000 pages
Ability to showcase case studies of traffic improvements
Proven record of building links using various techniques
Proficiency in SEO tools (GA4, Google Search Console, MS Clarity, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.) for data-driven decision-making
Competence with Google Adwords and performance marketing
Experience with WordPress will be a significant advantage.
Ability to use AI tools for content and image generation
Knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, and website builders will be a huge plus.
Understanding of needs and pain points web designers will make you a strong match.
