We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Full Stack WordPress (and Gutenberg) Developer to join our team on a part-time basis (20 hours a week) for 2-3 months. If you are skilled at solving complex problems in creative, simple, and elegant ways, and have a deep understanding of WordPress, this role is for you!

Profile
Technical Skills:
-
- Block theme development.
- Custom Gutenberg block development using React.
- Experience with team development using Git.
- Solid experience in classic themes and plugin development.
- In-depth knowledge of WordPress as a framework, including:
- Functions, actions, and filter hooks.
- Common APIs like the Metadata API, Transients API, and Options API.
- Proficiency in integrating external APIs.
- Strong focus on performance and security in the code you write.
Good to Have:
- Familiarity with WordPress Coding Standards.
- Experience utilizing AI tools to assist with development tasks.
- Good understanding of User Experience (UX) principles.
- Knowledge of SEO and Schema.org best practices.
On a Day-to-Day Basis You Will:
- Develop and maintain custom modules, features, and applications using PHP, JavaScript, and CSS, either creating or extending WordPress plugins and themes.
- Debug, fix issues, and optimize code to ensure a smooth user experience.
