We are hiring a Senior Web Developer & WordPress Specialist who thrives on writing high-quality code and crafting advanced, custom WordPress Themes and Plugins—from scratch.
This role is 100% remote and full-time. You’ll work with a team of developers, designers, and project managers to build and maintain bespoke WordPress solutions. If your idea of a good day is clean commits, high performance, and elegant backend logic—read on.

What You’ll Do
• Code custom WordPress Themes with performance, accessibility, and mobile-first principles.
• Develop advanced WordPress Plugins using modern PHP and WordPress API standards.
• Implement frontend interfaces with SCSS, Tailwind, JavaScript, and ACF Blocks.
• Integrate external services via REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Use Git (CLI) for version control, resolving conflicts, rebasing, and collaborating in shared repos.
• Optimize code for top Lighthouse scores, maintain clean architecture and naming conventions.
• Collaborate with other developers on architecture and code reviews.
• Support and coach junior devs when needed.

Must-Have Technical Skills
• 3+ years experience building WordPress Themes and Plugins from scratch
• Expert in:
• PHP, OOP, MVC
• WordPress API, Hooks, Filters, Custom Post Types
• SQL, database design
• JavaScript (vanilla, jQuery, AJAX)
• CSS Frameworks (Tailwind, Bootstrap)
• SCSS, node.js, npm, gulp, Composer
• ACF + ACF Blocks
• WordPress REST API
• Git CLI: merging, rebasing, resolving conflicts
• SSH, code deployment
• “Pixel-perfect” implementation of frontend designs (Figma, PSD)

Nice-to-Have Skills
• React / JSX and Gutenberg Block development
• WooCommerce customization
• Headless WordPress (with decoupled frontends)
• Animation libraries (e.g., GSAP)
• Familiar with Docker, CI/CD, Linux CLI
