Small business needs someone who has a deep understanding of WordPress – Woo Commerce. Good SEO skills, like Yoast, will be helpful
This person will be likely involved with our web security and site maintenance, updates, server logs, stability, Wordfence (or Securi) and uptime and the huuuggeee one, speed optimization.
We have roughly 25 different plugins (many are inactive) and roughly 300 SKUs. Our theme is The7 and our code is generally clean (one man’s clean is another’s spaghetti!)
Our client base is nationwide and we are in one of the most dynamic, popular sectors on the web. The potential for medium-long range growth makes it an exciting team venture.
Payment Processing – We want to have credit cards, ACH, Bank Wire, Bitpay and other alternatives. In our industry there are some special complexities.
Our first two actual projects will likely involve payment processing and the installation of the Avalara Sales Tax plug-in (on Avalara, our inside team will be closely involved in working with them daily.)
You will be involved with understanding the unusual pricing mechanisms in our business, with various improvement update possibilities down the road.
We will always consider the Shopify alternative … pluses and minuses to consider.
We have no problem driving people to our site but our conversion rate is low. There is no real immediate CTA, and too many abandoned carts. We want our customers to be excited every time they come! You will be helping on most or all of these needs.
Bottomline we want a website that screams at people to BUY!!
The person we are interested in speaking with is highly organized, accountable, and motivated!! Sharp thinker, good communication.
Please include a resume or information about your experience etc. The more information about you we get the better chance you have. We may even consider bringing 2 people on board. Whatever it takes!
If you are in the USA or Canada, and have Social Media and Marketing skills, that can be part of the mix.
Thank you in advance for your consideration.
