About Us:
We are a new and growing company that builds and manages a portfolio of web projects, some of which are e-commerce websites. We are seeking a talented WordPress Developer and Website Creator. The role involves building and managing eCommerce websites for various projects using WordPress, WooCommerce, custom themes, and plugins, with a strong focus on seamless functionality and integration of external APIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage eCommerce websites using WordPress.
- Develop custom themes and plugins to match project needs.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code to integrate external APIs and enhance site functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, ensuring optimal performance.
- Collaborate with our team to create novel features for websites to enhance user experience.
- Maintain clear and regular communication regarding project updates and timelines.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with WordPress development (including custom themes and plugins).
- Solid understanding of eCommerce platforms and how to develop for them (WooCommerce is required, Shopify knowledge is a plus).
- Proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience with integrating third-party APIs and customizing functionality.
- Ability to write clean, well-documented code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot website-related issues.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Bonus Skills:
- Familiarity with SEO best practices.
- Experience with performance optimization for WordPress websites.
- Knowledge of website security best practices.
